Make one yourself

Leslie brings the wood cut-outs, the glass, the resin and the know-how. You bring people who want to make something.

What a class looks like

You pick a design from the shapes Leslie brings, then spend the bulk of the time doing the fun part — spooning colored glass into the open sections and deciding how you want it to look. Leslie mixes and pours the resin with you and shows you how to work it into the gaps.

A class runs about 1½ hours. Your piece stays flat for 24 hours while it cures, so you'll take it home the next day or Leslie will hold it for pickup. No experience needed. Nobody has ever ruined one.

  • Everything is provided — wood cut-outs, crushed stained glass, resin, gloves, cups and spoons.
  • No kiln, no oven, no tools. If you can use a spoon, you can do this.
  • All ages welcome — an adult must supervise children, since this is crushed glass, and help with pouring the resin.
  • Everyone leaves with a finished piece that is genuinely one of a kind.

Good for

Bring your people

🥂 Girls' night

A relaxed table, good conversation, and everyone goes home with something to hang up.

🎂 Birthdays & showers

The craft is the activity and the party favor at the same time.

👩‍👧 Family craft day

Kids love picking the colors. Adults handle the resin. Everybody wins.

🏢 Team & group events

A team activity people actually enjoy, with a result they keep.

⛪ Clubs & church groups

Works well for a standing group that wants a seasonal project.

🎁 Just you

One-on-one sessions are fine too. Sometimes that's the whole point.

Hosting a class

Leslie comes to you, serving Snohomish County and surrounding areas. She's looking for hosts with a space big enough for two Costco folding tables — a dining room, a finished basement, a garage or a covered patio all work.

The host's piece is discounted

  • Party of 6 or fewer — the host gets their suncatcher at 50% off.
  • Party of 7 to 10 — the host's suncatcher is complimentary.

Booking and payment

  • Book at least 2 weeks ahead. Leslie needs the lead time to put the kits together.
  • Payment by Venmo, due 1 week before the class.
  • A class runs about 1½ hours.

To book, send Leslie a note with the date you have in mind, how many people, and the occasion. She'll confirm availability and send Venmo details.
